Welcome to the Farmington Pet Adoption Center
Can you give us a hand? Please complete this brief survey. Your answers will help FPAC determine if we need to expand our shelter and Second Chance Resale Store hours to best serve you. Thanks for your help!!
We appreciate your visit! Please feel free to look around and find out what we are all about. If you feel you would like to help us out in our mission to find homes for the Mineral Area's homeless pets, check How to Help. If you are wanting to find out about pets that we have available for adoption, check our Adoption Page. Adoption Works!!
Research shows that 98% of the people who adopt a rescue pet are glad they did, and would recommend adoption to their family and friends Here's the kicker: Someone who talks to a family member or friend who adopted a rescue pet is THREE TIMES more likely to go to a rescue themselves. YOU have the power to increase adoption, just by talking about your shelter pets! You don't even have to tell them to adopt... just talk about your pets and how great they are, and that you adopted them.

New Outdoor Kennels

As many of our supporters know, the Department of Agriculture is requiring that we replace our outdoor dog kennels. FPAC received a large donation of chain link fencing from our good friends at Five Acres Animal Shelter, but we still need to pour the concrete pads and purchase posts and other materials to build Phase 1, 12 new kennels lined up outside FPAC's main dog building.
Our wonderful earth moving man, Wayne Hotop, has prepped the site, but we need $1000 to purchase the concrete...and, we HAVE TO have this done by August 20th! Otherwise, we face fines or the possible loss of our state license. We're all feeling a little nervous about this deadline and hope that you can help by making a donation to this project. Use the "donate" button and designate "concrete." Your generosity will be put to good use!
